It comes just to the top of the calf for an extra secure fit, and the wide welt won't bind or constrict. Underneath it's the Outdoor Classic: ultra-soft Merino Wool for temperature and moisture management, a fully cushioned foot, reinforced heel and toe, and a comfort toe seam. Turn inside out, then machine wash warm on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low. Skip the fabric softener, it coats the Merino fibers and blunts the wicking and odor resistance that make the sock work. Merino resists odor naturally, so it takes fewer washes than cotton.
